Rent Reviews!

I've been renting a few games lately. I've become bored of buying games and selling them on when I know I can complete the games I don't truly love within the weeks timeframe you're given.

So I tried out Quantum Of Solace and 50 Cent : Blood in the Sand, both of which I finished within 3 days each.

Here's a quick review about how long it took, how much gamerscore I took from the playthrough and how much I enjoyed it.

007 Quantum Of Solace

Nights spent playing : 3 out of 7 nights allowed

Gamerscore Achieved : 420GS

Pros : A competent first person shooter, CoD 4 gameplay. Good representation of film scenes

Cons : Doesn't really feel like you're James Bond during gameplay, could be anyone. This is due to lack of Bond type gadgets

Overall Rent Rating : 6 out of 10. Bit short and despite the competent core gameplay, they do little to change it up.

50 Cent : Blood in the Sand

Nights spent playing : 2 out of 7 nights allowed

Gamescore Achieved : 380GS

Pros: It's an arcade version of Gears Of War. Feels exactly the same with a kill-combo mechanic and a fun co-op mode. Fun vehicle modes. Easy to pick up and play. Taunts are hilarious. 50 Cent music is good for the "fans"

Cons : 50 Cent. It's really really short, but should be replayable easily.

Rent Rating : 7 out of 10. Despite the super short nature, the core gameplay is great fun with some fun (not crap) vehicle sections to give the game some difference in gameplay.

YEAH BITCHES!
