Another year, another bundle of games!

Coming soon in 2011.
I know this is a crazy thing to talk about what with the previous coming and going leaving such an amazing impact on the gaming industry with its sheer amount of quantity and quality titles out each and every month but I think it’s safe to say that the next twelve months ahead are looking to equally exciting.

January brings a couple of exciting winter warmers starting with a game which is relatively quiet across the board is Two Worlds 2. If you enjoy your fantasy RPGs and cannot wait for the end of year release for Elder Scrolls VI then this could be for you. If you own a PS3 and have not yet checked out the glorious Mass Effect 2 then this is your chance with a release that comes with all the downloadable add-ons included on the disc. Ending the month on the 28th January will see the release of both Dead Space 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2. It’s safe to say that I am most definitely excited about the sequel to Dead Space and I cannot wait to see the next adventure for Isaac Clarke.

February is certainly no slack when it comes to weekly releases with the hotly anticipated Homefront on the PC and Xbox 360, expect something along the lines of Call of Duty and Half-Life and you know what to expect from THQ’s latest game. The same week will bring the sequel to Test Drive Unlimited with a similar mechanic of open world racing which is always “live”. The following week in February has CapCom punching and kicking their way onto store shelves again with the fantastic Marvel Vs CapCom 3but if Spiderman kicking Ken in the face isn’t your thing then maybe Lego Star Wars 3 will be more your thing. The final week in February has Killzone 3, Kirby’s Epic Yarn Brink and my most wanted game: Bulletstorm. Keep an eye out for that one if you like your crazy, over the top first-person shooters.

This is only two months into this year and already there’s potential for some of the best games for us to experience. I haven’t even begun to talk about the Kinect software which is coming let alone the Nintendo 3DS in March. It’s time to get saving that pocket money, folks. It’s going to be a good one, again!
